Main Talk:  ComedySportzHouston, an all star match

Speaker:  Benji Cooksey

Benji Cooksey, owner ComedySportzHouston will present an all star match with three players, an announcer, and a referee. In a competitive improv format players will perform using suggestions from the audience. Great fun for the entire family!

Musician:  The Drift

At age 15 Joseph started playing guitar and music immediately became an important part of his life. He joined a high school band and then a college band. When the latter began to lose momentum he decided to pursue a career in education. He’s currently in his 10th year as a history teacher, but in 2018 he decided to rekindle his musical aspirations. He plays all over town— sometimes as a solo artist and sometimes with his band “The Drift.” His original music can be found on any streaming platform.

Houston Oasis meets in the Reunion Hall Gymnasium on the Baker Ripley campus. From Hillcroft St, turn right onto High Star Dr, then turn right into the Baker Ripley parking lot just past where the road curves to become Rookin St. You can park anywhere in this lot and follow the "Oasis" directional signs to the gym.

The program starts at 10:30 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation. If it's your first time visiting, make sure to stop by our welcome table in the back of the room to say hello and learn more about Oasis. Parents can drop off their young ones with our team in the kids room, where they will meet new friends and enjoy fun activities together.
